Founded in 1989 by Mr. Gary DeAngelo, Sun & Skin Care Research Inc. (SSCR) began in Virginia Beach, Virginia selling to beach stores and pool decks. The first brand manufactured by Sun and Skin Care Research was the Ocean Potion brand of sun and skin care products.

In August 2008 Sun & Skin Care Research purchased the No-Ad brand trademark.  The No-Ad (Not Advertised) franchise was first introduced in 1960 and built on the value premise of double the product for the same retail price as leading advertised brands.  The combination of the two brands at the manufacturing and distribution center in Cocoa, Florida allows Sun & Skin Care Research to continue to develop new and unique break through products in the sun protection category. more »
